About me

Hello! I am Elizabeth! I am a peranakan born Malaysian animator, illustrator, and pixel artist based in Cyberjaya.

When I first started watching 2D animated show, it spark my curiosity on animation and I wanted to learn the production. As I was learning, I developed and interest in drawing cute characters and stories that explore the concept of warmth.

In recent years, I enjoyed making characters for my husband's indie games. Through this experience I have created several pixel Illustrations that has helped me acquired some freelance jobs.

In my free time, I enjoy baking, watching anime, playing RPG video games and reading children book illustrations which inspired most of my work.

2024-2026

Freelancer

Over the years in animation, I realized my desire to pursue my interest in illustration. I worked as a animation freelancer and learn to manage my time for work and personal time.

2021-2024

Yuraki Studio

In 2021 I had the opportunity to join an indie animation company called Yuraki studio. My job requires me to creating in-between animation and animated short for clients. Here I worked with a smaller group of people. I learned how to communicate with colleagues and to be flexible with different types of working style from different clients.

2018-2021

In-between Checker/animator
OLM Asia

Working for a Japanese animation studio is a new experience at this time. We were trained to follow a different animation pipeline compared to a western animation studio. I learned to train myself to meet tight datelines and maintaining consistent quality in animation production. During the course of my work, I was trusted with the responsibility of an In-between checker where it requires me to check and give retakes to maintain the quality of animations.

Internship
Giggle Garage Animations

I had my internship at Giggle garage animations studio as a 2D artist. I was assigned to create characters and their background stories for the studio's IP.

I learn to express my thoughts through discussions with other artists in different department and feedback from my supervisor.

2014-2017

Bachelor in Animations & Visual Effect
Multimedia University

I started my education with Foundation in Arts course in the first year and a degree in animations & visual effect at Multimedia University Cyberjaya. There I learned about the professional workflow in the animation industry and discovered my interest in 2D animations.
